It's there for life

Tattoos are permanent (unless you can get the money to get it removed) so before you get inked, think about what you want to have on your body for the rest of your life. Most jobs will not hire you if you have a tattoo that is visible, though some employers are okay with them. Vulgar sayings and images are frowned upon all over the place.

Here's my advice: get something that actually means something to you.

For example, I have five tattoos and each one has a different meaning:
1. Celtic clover - Irish heritage

2. Kanji for 'Love' - Love of Family and Friends

3. Quill and "I must not tell lies" underneath - A reminder of better times and to not lie

4. Wolf paw print - Spirit animal and overcoming hardships

5. Pentagram and moon - Religion and faith in my partner, who has an identical tattoo
